In Kaluga region, the company is building a complex for the production of combined immunobiological drugs intended for the prevention and treatment of various diseases. It also plans to create a full-cycle production complex designed with the use of high
speed technologies for the production of live and inactivated vaccines as well as monoclonal antibodies.
The company’s strategy provides for gradual localization of production: from secondary packaging, bottling and up to the development of antigens. The production capacity of the plant will amount to more than 14 mln doses of vaccines per year.
The plant will use technological processes of the world’s largest producers of immunobiological drugs with full-cycle localization in Russia.
The start of production is scheduled for 2025.

The Kaluga branch of AstraZeneca complies with international GMP standards and LEAN rules, and takes into account the requirements of labor protection, safety, and environmental protection.

A license was obtained from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation for the production of finished dosage forms. Since 2018, mass production of modern drugs has started on the full-cycle principle. The total investment in production for the entire period exceeded 8 billion rubles.
